Rates
All rates are based around a 50 minute session. Some sessions may be
scheduled to be longer or shorter depending on particular circumstances.

Insurance & Payment
Spoon River Counseling & Wellness is committed to making every effort to
serve residents of the Fulton County area, regardless of financial
circumstances. We are happy to work with whichever payment system you'd like
to use.
You have many options:
Out of Pocket : This may include a sliding scale,
depending on your circumstances.
In-Network insurance : Spoon River Counseling &
Wellness is in-network with most insurance carriers. We are inNetwork with
Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, HealthLink, Health Alliance, Humana,
MultiPlan, PHCS, Cigna, Aetna and more.
Out-of-Network insurance: If we are not in-network for
your insurance carrier, we likely will be soon. In the meantime, it is
possible that you have an out-of-network benefit that you can take advantage
of. If not, please call anyway, and we will find a rate that will work for
both of us.
Employee Assistance Program: Spoon River C & W works
with select third party EAP payers. Check and see if yours is one.
Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
Payment
Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have
not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay
the full cost of the session.
